 We tend to take a screen shot of anything we see on our mobile screen and want to save. Almost everyone has an account on social media apps, they serve as the channel of communication between people across the globe. One of the leading platform is Facebook. Since it has a large number of users privacy becomes an issue sometimes. If you’re wondering, does Facebook notify screenshots. The answer is No, it does not. Facebook will not inform or notify the person if you take a screenshot of their profile picture or story. Facebook still doesn’t have this feature where the other person gets notified about the screenshot. However you will be notified through your notifications settings. So, if you ask does Facebook show screenshot. Then yes, it does. But not the other person. Your phone IOS will notify and show you the screenshot you took.

Steps to take a screenshot:

  • Open the image or page you want to save.
  •  Now, press the power button and volume down button simultaneously.
  • Hold the buttons and you will hear a click sound and the screen will go black for a second.
  • Release the button.
  • Your screenshot has been taken.
  • You can then save it in the gallery.

Another way of taking a screenshot is to simply open the page or Facebook story you want to save. Then scroll down the short cut menu and click on the screenshot icon. Most of the smart phones have this feature. Click on the icon and your page would be saved.

No matter how you take a screenshot. But that does not change the answer to does Facebook notify screenshot story. Facebook does provide you with other security options like locking your profile and editing your friends list. But it does not notify about screenshot.
